| Description: |
The Corporation of the Municipality of Brighton invites qualified and experienced proponents to submit quotations for the completion of an Intersection Assessment and Traffic Impact Study for the Ontario Street, Main Street, and Princess Street intersection.
The intersection was identified in the Municipality's 2025 Transportation Master Plan as a candidate for future signalization. The purpose of this study is to assess existing and future traffic operations and determine the timing and justification for intersection improvements. The study shall evaluate alternative solutions, including traffic signals, roundabouts, intersection realignment, and other operational improvements, and provide recommendations for a preferred long-term solution.
The preferred alternative identified through this study will guide future detailed design, budgeting, and implementation of intersection improvements. The final report shall include recommendations regarding the preferred intersection configuration, implementation triggers, conceptual improvement requirements, and Class D budgetary cost estimates to support future capital planning.
Deadline for submission is July 23, 2026, 2:00 PM local time
